Profile of Simon Fine :
I have quite a varied background in writing and playing music. I was classically trained on guitar from a young age and have won several awards including the Dublin inter-schools music competition for classical guitar. I have played guitar and drums in several bands with radio & TV exposure and released and sold several EPs. I have had chart success in the Irish market twice with Dustin The Turkey (The Mad Turkey and Irlande Douze Points) and underground dance charts in the UK for remixes I have done for other artists.
I designed and built my studio (Bubblegum Studios) from the ground up. It is the industry standard and leading ProTools system, and also consists of a small but good selection of mics, preamps, compressors, converters, monitors, software synths and plugins. Added to this are some serious synths, including my pride possesion of a Moog analogue synth.
